if you customize regular computers meant for everyday use from dell, hp, and other common companies you can build quite a nice computer. if you want a company that all of their computers are fast and they are still cheap you need to look at Sager. I have never owned one and i have never seen one but i am looking to buy a gaming laptop and one of my geek friends recommended Sager to me so im sure they are good quality.

I agree, alienware is way too expansive, you can find a dell inspiron laptop that is just as fast as a $2000 Alienware Laptop if you look at the 17 in. screens.

That reminds me…if you are looking at laptops you can get a 17 in. much cheapter and faster than you could get it in a 15 in. I have been customizing laptops alot over the last 3 weeks trying to find a good deal. You should check out hp 17 and 18 inches

    Build it yourself from newegg.com

@rtobyr – Incorrect actually, alienware is severely overpriced and their computer often come with unneeded parts to jack up the price.

Sorry, dude… AW is really a good bang for your buck. Good luck finding a better deal on a gaming system. I strongly recommend that you take a second look at them. Their very lowest end laptop goes for $1,100 and has exactly the same specs as a Macbook Pro for crying out loud.

Visit Dell, HP, and Toshiba. Dell XPS laptops are good for gaming while the HP laptops are good for business. Toshiba Qosmio has best of both business and gaming. But for affordabilty, I’d choose either the Dell XPS and Toshiba Qosmio.
